So its been a little while since I posted. Mostly because I didn't have anything new to tell you about. Dennis did go see the family doctor about the referral he needs to see the neurosurgeon. They said they faxed it but at the insurance company they say they haven't received it which I believe. So after getting the email from his lawyer and nurse case manager at the insurance company, I called and spoke to the person who said they faxed it and asked that it be faxed again. Hopefully it will be, they have already said it will be immediately approved. So I'm praying that it goes through so I can make the appointment for him.
Now that I have that out of the way, Ill be working on finding him a psychiatrist he can go to for treatment for Major Depression, severe type, that he was diagnosed with. That will also be approved once I find someone willing to accept the insurance. Ohio is notoriously difficult to work with. So thats my goal now, to find someone and talk to them into accepting it.
Other than that nothing much has happened. We have pretty much come to terms that we cant have Christmas this year. Yes I know that other people are worse off than us, we have a roof over our head, even if it is a storage shed. Money is so tight right now we are struggling to pay the bills which is causing us a lot of extra stress. We are still hanging in there though. Ill post again once I have the appointment for the neurosurgeon or when I get new information. Be safe, be pain free!
